The Strange Power of Simon Drudd (Monsterbus p.244)

Today, research continues into halting ageing. Kirby the prophet has three warnings for us:

1. growing young implies not youth, but age: gaining knowledge over centuries;
2. immortality increases inequality, so the younger people cannot compete;
3. a thought experiment: let's imagine we had complete control over ageing, while retaining memories. What happens when you get younger and younger, become a baby, then don't stop? Your memories survive, but where? Even if we don't go to that extreme, the fact that the mind can survive in different bodies shows that the body does not matter, it is merely a vehicle. What other vehicles might we use for the kind?
